Between 2011 and 2012, ArtePollino, part of the network of Redus Basilicata, collaborated to the implementation of some project activities, aimed at creating a nature itinerary on the thermal spring water of Calda, coordinated by “Il Cielo di Indra” environmental centre. The itinerary connects Mount Alpi to Sinni river and includes visits to the fossil of Istiophoridae, the springs and caves of Calda, the former thermal centre (that today hosts the Musuem of Spa and Wellness), the old hydroelectric power plant of SAEL, and finally the contemporary artwork “Earth Cinema” by Anish Kapoor, located in the park. With the support of operators and teachers, the students of the Liceo Scientifico “G. De Lorenzo” of Latronico have been involved in the design of the route, the choice of the name and the creation of a brochure.
